Memories of a moment

As inspired by A duck in her pond and pseudonymous

The young girl rushed up the long driveway to her home. Zig Zagging the walk up that driveway was a daily ritual....at least if she went to school or to play at a friends house.....or went to look for the cow. The dog, Mauka, was waiting at the top of the Mountain Drive and sat patiently till she reached the top, tail wagging. There was always leaps and licks and occassionally there was an aggressive push to the ground to "play". This young girl would drop her items in the driveway and sit on the warm cement looking at the sky and clouds. Wishful thinking about childhood dreams and just feeling the sun and the breeze.

This is very well-written, Kalei. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Is this your memory of a moment? :)

This is my memory of when Rambler and I lived in the Big Island of Hawaii. We lived in the mountains. It was a really great house, my grandfather built. warm fuzzy all over.

Yesterday was such a rough day.

BFF's grandmother's funeral was yesterday. A lot of different emotions. Being in the church where we baptized our daughters. Missed you immensely. Came home and read this, and missed you even more.

I love it. Could not have written this better.

Love you!!

Sounds idyllic. And perfect for Perfect Moment Mondays. I'm adding it to this week's as well.
